| 30 years ago was premiered, at ICA London, MODELL 5, a monumental and seminal audiovisual work by GRANULAR-SYNTHESIS.Its fully restored 4K version will be presented in San Francisco on December, the 5th, and we are preparing a world tour with a retrospective of the duet founded in 1991 by Kurt Hentschläger and Ulf Langheinrich, including some of their respective personal works.During more than ten years, these pioneers of audiovisual granular synthesis have played with images and sound like musical instruments. They dissected and manipulated fractions of a second, amplifying and assembling them into visual and sonic symphonies.
